Bladestar Renewables Ltd were tasked with completing internal blade inspections across the portfolio for EDF Renewables. Internal inspections are a crucial part of ensuring the integrity of blades. Internal defects are often more severe and can jeopardise the asset if not monitored correctly. As there had been known failures of this blade type in various locations globally, internal inspections were conducted to ensure the integrity of the blade.

EDF has a wide and varied fleet of wind turbines which generates One Gigawatt of renewable energy. This sizeable fleet requires constant maintenance from specialist personnel and contractors in order to maintain the highest possible efficiency, one of those contractors is Bladestar Blade Repair.
